Connect the VQB MCP Server to Claude

Introduction

The Visual Quiz Builder MCP Server allows AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude to securely access your quiz data, analytics, and store information.

This guide explains how to connect the MCP Server and start interacting with your Visual Quiz Builder data using natural language prompts.

Generate an MCP Authentication Token

1. Open your Visual Quiz Builder dashboard.
2. Navigate to Integrations.
3. Select MCP Server Setup.
4. Click Generate MCP Auth Token.

Once the token has been generated, continue to the next step.

Connect the VQB MCP Server to ChatGPT

Step 1: Enable Developer Mode

1. Open ChatGPT.
2. Navigate to Settings → Apps → Advanced Settings.
3. Enable Developer Mode.

After Developer Mode is enabled, the Create App option will become available.
