Visual Quiz Builder will create a Klaviyo profile and send events to that profile as soon as a user engages with a quiz and provides an email address or phone number.
Visual Quiz Builder will update the Subscription status of the quiz taker to Subscribed if the quiz taker has opted-in to marketing while taking the quiz and has been added to a list in Klaviyo. If this list is set to single opt-in in Klaviyo, the quiz taker’s opt-in while taking the quiz is sufficient to update the subscription status. However, if the list is set to double opt-in in Klaviyo, the quiz taker will additionally need to opt-in by responding to the email that will be sent to them by Klaviyo.
Visual Quiz Builder also sends the following useful properties to a quiz taker’s profile:
Quiz Recommendations Shopify details of the recommended products including the product name, ID, image URL, metafields
Recommendation URL A unique URL created by Visual Quiz Builder for each quiz taker’s Result Page
Source To identify that the profile / customer was created by Visual Quiz Builder (even though the term “by Askwhai” is related to past ownership of the app, to keep the continuity of profile and event properties, we have not updated the profile property and event names)
Quiz events will show up in the events panel under each profile and be titled Visual Quiz by AskWhai.
Expanding each event will reveal several parameters associated with the event that will be useful while segmenting customers.
Visual Quiz Builder sends 3 types of events: Start, Answer, and Complete.
